Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join a leading fleet maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment, applying your knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, execute repairs and preventive maintenance, calibrate engine controls, and collaborate with supervisors to estimate costs and order parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel systems: engines, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems.
• ASE Diesel Certification or OEM-specific training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and complex hydraulic systems.
• Conduct comprehensive repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines, transmissions, and rotary equipment components.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability.
• Oversee calibration and adjustment of engine controls, fuel injection systems, and emission control devices.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to develop repair plans, estimate repair costs, and order necessary parts.

Qualifications
