Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Fleet Detailer in Alpena, SD to wash, detail and maintain company vehicles and equipment. You will operate wash stations and ensure clean, safe working conditions.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, minor repairs support and moving equipment as needed, with overtime potential. Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred for expanded duties.

Qualifications

Job Location: Stans - Alpena, SD 57312

Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Description: The Fleet Detailer will assist in the sanitation, general maintenance and minor repair of equipment and facilities to ensure safe and continuous operation.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Washing, cleaning and detailing all company vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Driving vehicles and equipment into and out of wash station.
• Performing daily cleaning and maintenance of truck wash facilities and equipment.
• Routine janitorial of various company facilities.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self motivated, strong team player who possesses excellent initiative, decision making skills and ability to work well with fellow team members.
• Working conditions are consistent with normal truck wash and mechanical repair situations including working in inclement weather at times. Daily exposure to moisture, heat, noise, dust, etc.
• Use of materials such as cleaning agents, brushes, brooms, cloths and hoses.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds, standing, walking and bending.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stand for longer than normal periods of time.
• Valid driver’s license
• Prefer applicant posses or, within reasonable time, be able to secure CDL to perform additional duties associated with maintenance and movement of equipment fleet and product.

Compensation

Compensation: $17 - $20/hour, dependent upon education and experience. Average work week 42-45 hours, overtime eligible. Excellent benefit package including health and life insurance, retirement, vacation and paid holidays.
