Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker/Service Employee in Crystal Lake, IL to keep fleet vehicles clean and ready for service, operate and position buses, fuel and log fluids, and assist with light maintenance in a busy transit setting.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with eligibility for a DOT drug test and physical where required. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles.
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids.
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.
