Job summary

Flexcar in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Automotive 'C' Technician / Mechanic for an onsite, full-time role. Compensation starts at $22.50 per hour plus full benefits, a tool package, and a $500 sign-on bonus.

You’ll service a large fleet, perform oil changes, tire work, battery installs, inspections, and other basic repairs, following Flexcar procedures. The role supports team safety and offers growth as the company expands in a fast-changing mobility space.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Identify, order, and maintain correct supplies and parts.
• Perform mechanical repairs including oil changes, tire changes, tire rotations, battery installations, air filter replacements, light bulb replacements, windshield wiper exchanges.
• Perform mechanical inspections including tire inspections, brake inspections, underbody damage inspections, suspension shake-downs.
• Follow Flexcar standard operating procedures at all times.
• Keep workplace free and clear of hazards per 5S standards.
• Review work orders for accuracy of work performed and parts installed.
• Use computers and internal systems to complete daily assignments.
• Assist onboarding other associates and be a good team player.
• Provide support to managers as needed.
• Perform all work within standardized cycle times.
