Mission description

Summary of Job Purpose: Responsible for handling North American customer requests related to Pool assets by managing the stock of Safran Helicopter Engines USA. This involves sizing, localization, the global immobilization loop follow-up, and financial encumbrance analysis. Interacts with Safran Helicopter Engines worldwide repair centers and coordinates with Corporate to support North American Front Offices and customers. Proactively anticipates, resolves problems, and creates conditions to support customer requests, aiming to achieve the target service rate. Responsible for reaching the inventory value target. Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills and proficient knowledge of Safran Helicopter Engines processes to propose process improvements and customized solutions for customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Customer support management: Provide AOG support, review all request types (Standard Exchange, rental, outright sales, consignments), interact with other sites, and ensure customer requirements are met on time. Provide appropriate assets to Front Offices, build materials for customized requests, coordinate worldwide responses, ship engines internationally, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Stock management: Manage stock levels to maintain safety stock, coordinate repairs considering JIT concepts, select repair centers, ensure engine repairs progress within TAT, and manage stock distribution across locations. Participate in stock sizing and revise stock based on seasonality and customer trends. Regularly review stock to prevent limits, ensure accurate consignment stock, and manage asset rotation.
Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience in aviation, mechanical, engineering, or technical fields.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
  • Experience delivering results under pressure, decision-making, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Lean Sigma or project management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, work autonomously, and proactively.
Physical Requirements

Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms, occasionally stand/walk, lift up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Work environment is usually quiet.
