Job summary

The Raymond Corporation seeks a Fleet & Facilities Team Leader to guide maintenance across locations and manage a redeployable vehicle fleet. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and branches to oversee maintenance, improvements, and fleet logistics.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, inspections, budget considerations, and ensuring OSHA/compliance standards are met while maintaining inventory and vendor relationships across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, property management, fleet management, maintenance coordination, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to company locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and operation of all facilities across locations.
• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure safety and reliability.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and facility improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Manage services including landscaping, janitorial, waste management, pest control, and building upkeep.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and projects.
• Serve as primary contact for facility vendors and service providers.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes for cost-effective solutions.
• Schedule and monitor contractor performance to ensure timely, safe completion.
• Review service contracts and identify improvements or savings opportunities.
• Support on-site vendors during maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
• Assist with developing and managing annual facility maintenance and capital budgets.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and building codes.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and corrective actions.
• Manage lease documentation, renewals, and expirations.
• Oversee fleet readiness, vehicle preparation, and inventory across branches.
• Coordinate transfers to meet operational needs.
• Respond promptly to facility and fleet issues with minimal business disruption.

Job Summary The Fleet & Facilities Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating all facility maintenance, building operations, grounds management, and fleet readiness across company locations.

In addition to facility oversight, this position oversees the company's redeployable vehicle fleet. The Fleet & Facilities Team Leader works closely with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and branch personnel to oversee maintenance activities, facility improvement projects, and fleet logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and overall operation of all facilities
• Develop, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain in safe, reliable operating condition
• Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and facility improvement projects from planning through completion
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate services including landscaping, janitorial, waste management, pest control, and building maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and completed projects
• Serve as the primary contact for facility vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure quality cost‑effective solutions
• Schedule, coordinate, and monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company expectations

• Oversee and manage documented vehicle preparation processes, including transportation, inspections, maintenance, detailing, and final readiness
• Maintain accurate fleet inventory records across all branch locations
• Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate transfers between branches to meet operational needs
• Order and maintain inventory of new hire tool kits, vehicle equipment, and related supplies for both new and redeployed fleet vehicles
• Respond promptly to facility and fleet-related issues while maintaining minimal disruption to business operations
• Perform any other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

Occasionally, the role may entail working in elevated conditions, encountering harmful or corrosive chemicals, and facing the risk of electric shock. There is potential exposure to hazards related to equipment movement and harmful chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed. Noise levels typically range from moderate to high.

Travel Requirements

Some travel may be required, occasionally overnight, to attend to needs across different locations.
