Job summary

George E. Booth Co., Inc. is seeking a full-time Fleet Administrator to oversee the complete lifecycle of the company’s vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities include registrations, titles, fuel program administration, vendor negotiations, GPS tracking management, asset replacement planning, and coordinating branding to ensure compliance and efficiency across fleet operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2–5 years in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations,

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Two to five years in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.
  • Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle registrations, titles, renewals and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee fuel program administration and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate GPS tracking, asset replacement, and vehicle branding.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and reports for fleet expenses.
  • Coordinate fleet deployment to employees and monitor vehicle readiness.

Summary/Objective:

The Fleet Administrator oversees the complete lifecycle management of thecompany’s vehicle fleet. Responsibilities include vehicle registration andtitling, fuel program administration, vendor negotiations, GPS trackingmanagement, asset replacement planning, and coordination of vehicle branding toensure compliance and efficiency across all fleet operations.

Essential Functions

Manage vehicle registrations, titles, renewals, and ensurecompliance with all state and local regulations.

Ensure vehicles are properly equipped, documented, and readyfor deployment.

Maintain accurate and current records for all fleet assets.

Administer and monitor the company’s fuel program, includingtracking usage and identifying trends.

Negotiate and manage vendor relationships for vehicles,fuel, maintenance, and related services.

Coordinate fleet assignments and deployment to new andexisting employees.

Implement and oversee GPS tracking systems across the fleet.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports for fleet-relatedexpenses.

Manage design, production, and installation of vehiclegraphics and branding to ensure consistency with company standards.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities, primarily related tospecific projects or vendor coordination, rather than direct personnelmanagement.

Work Environment:

While performing job duties, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanicalparts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles. Work may occasionally occur inextreme conditions at customer sites. Noise levels can be loud, and appropriatePersonal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safetyglasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection must be worn as required.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to talk, listen, stand, walk, or movethroughout facilities and customer sites. Some tasks require extended periodsat a computer workstation. Specific visual requirements include close,distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjustfocus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as duties demand.

Travel:

Minimal overnight travel is expected. Local travel to customer sites and otheroffice locations, including headquarters, may be required.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED with two to five years ofexperience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.

Proficiency in fleet management software and MicrosoftOffice applications.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree in logistics, transportation, business,or a related field, or 2–3 years of related industry experience.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety standards,and regulatory compliance.

Experience using telematics and GPS tracking systems.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license required.
