Job summary

Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking a compounder for our production facility. You will add raw materials, follow formulas, and complete production orders while ensuring accurate documentation and strict food safety practices.

You will measure ingredients, lift heavy drums with PPE, transfer materials, and monitor temperatures to ensure consistent mixes. You will also sample, test, and complete batch paperwork in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Experience following standard batching instructions.
• Ability to lift heavy drums and bags.
• Documentation and batch sheets accuracy.
• Follow CIP and cleaning guidelines.

Your Role in Synergy's Success

This position is responsible for compounding in a production manufacturing facility. Compounders add raw materials and follow the formula requirements to complete production orders using equipment such as mixers. Compounders are required to take samples of the batch and turn them over to a laboratory for testing. They must follow food safety guidelines and accurate documentation of work completed.

How You Will Contribute

• Follow standard batching instructions to measure or weigh ingredients.
• Lifting of heavy drums and bags while wearing proper PPE.
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, utilize piping and parts efficiently
• Strictly follow detailed instructions to monitor equipment, control temperatures and consistency of the mixes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment able to multi-task and perform under pressure while remaining flexible.
• Sample and test for various attributes from the mixes after completion.
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.
• Filling out necessary paperwork and batch sheets that accompany mixes compounded.
• Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's safety policies.
• Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects
