Job summary

Imbibe, a dynamic beverage development company in Niles, IL, seeks a hands-on Pilot Plant Technician to support product development with flavorists and engineers in our state-of-the-art Pilot Plant.

You will run beverage formulations on processing equipment, maintain supplies, troubleshoot, ensure proper packaging, and follow GMP, with opportunities to contribute to root cause analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• Team player willing to support development and launch of new products on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs of the lab.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to observe details at close range.
• Constant movement through pilot plant, labs, and office.

Responsibilities

• Run beverage formulations through various processing equipment.
• Maintain proper stock of prepared packaging materials.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged components promptly.
• Follow GMP guidelines during production and keep work areas clean.
• Package and label beverage products correctly.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement projects.
