Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a friendly cashier to take and relay orders, handle transactions, and maintain guest satisfaction. You will communicate with the kitchen and crew to ensure orders go out quickly, balance cash drawers, and assist with customer questions while upholding Wingstop’s service standards.

This fast-paced role requires a team player attitude, reliability, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines as part of a high-energy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Computer literate and comfortable using computerized register (POS) systems.
• Excellent cash handling skills.
• Professional, polite, and reliable even when under stress.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and people skills.
• Must have integrity, honesty and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant and calling into the restaurant.
• Place orders for customers in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and promotions.
• Process transactions accurately; verify age for alcohol purchases where applicable.
• Answer questions from customers and make menu recommendations.
• Monitor order readiness and ensure timely service to guests.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift and prepare for next shift.
• Maintain a clean Front of House area and uphold safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow directions when given by managers.
