Job summary

GEX Transport in Mississippi is seeking experienced flatbed truck drivers with CDL Class A. This role offers home weekends, regional routes, and steady freight. Trainees require 1 year of OTR/Regional experience; experienced drivers need 6 months flatbed plus 1 year OTR/Regional.

Expect weekly earnings of $1,400 to $1,600 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified flatbed drivers. Duties include tarping, strapping, and completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience for trainees.
• Minimum 6 months flatbed experience and 1 year OTR/Regional for experienced drivers.

• Clean motor vehicle record and ability to pass DOT drug screen.
• Prescribed moving violations: no more than 3 in last 3 years; one at fault accident max; rollover restriction.

Account:

$1400 to $1600 per week and $5000 sign on bonus for experience flatbed drivers only.

Home Time

Regional, Home Weekends., Out for 5 days and Home for 2 days.

Duties:

• Tarpping and strapping down certain loads
• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements:

• minimum age of 22.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, Urine Test.

Moving Violation:

No more 3 in the last 3 years.

Accident:

• No more than one at fault accident.
• Recent at fault rollover in the past year.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

Will review.

DUI/DWI:

• Experienced: None in the past 5 years
• Trainee: None in the past 3 years.
• Go by conviction date.
