• Knowledge of the transportation/trucking industry.
• 1-3 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience preferred.

What We Are Looking For:

Our Tinley Park Dispatcher will have strong communication skills and ability to strategically route our drivers to their destination. You are a customer service minded person who looks to take care of their drivers at all times. You are comfortable working through challenges as they arise, but also learn from mistakes. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maximizing ROI of our Carrier's days and trips.

Effectively using Circle Logistics proprietary technology to organize, strategize and prioritize jobs for Carriers while minimizing operational costs and downtime.

Flawlessly executing existing SOPs - and providing key feedback for product/process improvements.

Finding innovative ways to dispatch more efficiently or create value for Shippers and Carriers through analysis and critical problem solving.

Work seamlessly with our Carriers and Circle Logistics internal teams.

Handle inbound and outbound communications with drivers.

Communicate with Drivers throughout the delivery process to ensure they are meeting the required deadlines.

Support and build relationships with drivers to grow business and keep all parties content during the process.

Keep focused and work in a fast-paced environment to cover as many loads as possible as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in logistics supply chain, business administration or related field or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of progressive flatbed specialization dispatch experience.

Oversized load and permitting dispatch a plus.

Customer Service Experience a plus.

Knowledge of the transportation/trucking industry.

1-3 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience preferred.
