Job Responsibilities
  • Safely load and unload all inbound and outbound flatbed freight, including proper load securement.
  • Label and tag freight with correct identifying information.
  • Verify materials against work orders for accuracy.
  • Complete shipment documentation accurately, courteously, and on time.
  • Provide professional, customer‑focused service during all interactions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
  • Conduct basic inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
  • Support general warehouse operations and customer service activities.
  • Assist coworkers and other departments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic understanding of freight or transportation operations
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in workflow and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Completion of all required training and recertification
  • Ability to understand and follow regulations, procedures, and policies
  • Ability to operate all equipment used within the department
  • Safety footwear required
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum six months of relevant experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move up to 200 lbs using proper equipment
  • Ability to independently lift up to 70 lbs
  • Frequent repetitive motions
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle tools and materials
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to weather, exhaust, and warehouse conditions
Work Environment
  • Work performed indoors, outdoors, in vehicles, and at off‑site locations
  • Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, fumes, and hazardous materials
  • Frequent proximity to moving and stationary equipment
  • Use of personal protective equipment may be required
Additional Requirements
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

The hourly rate will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
