Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc in Carencro, LA is seeking a Driver to operate and maintain company vehicles for timely pickups and deliveries, including hazardous materials handling as needed.

You will load and unload cargo, keep travel and vehicle maintenance logs, and perform related duties to ensure proper deliveries. A Class A CDL with endorsements and English proficiency are required; respirator use may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with all required endorsements.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment as needed.
• Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers on a timely basis.

• Pick-up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operates and maintains company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries. Transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies.

1. Make deliveries and pick‑ups to and from customers on a timely basis.
2. Loads and unloads cargo.
3. Pick‑up and delivery of hazardous materials and wastes, complete inspections and paperwork associated with hazardous materials and waste pickup transport.
4. Maintains travel and vehicle maintenance logs.
5. Perform all other duties as required to make proper deliveries and pick‑ups for customers.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
