Job summary

Cdl A Sense seeks an experienced Class A OTR Flatbed driver with a focus on getting home weekends. They offer an average take-home of $1500-$1800 per week and a $5000 sign-on bonus, plus full benefits.

Drivers operate Cascadia/T680 trucks, may take the truck home with the trailer, and haul steel and pipes on a five-state regional route. Orientation runs Monday to Thursday, travel expenses are covered, and a strong safety record is required.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable OTR experience in the last 5 years, with at least 6 months flatbed hauling (steel and pipes).
• Clean record: no more than one at-fault accident in 3 years; DOT recordable last year reviewed; up to three moving violations.
• Stable work history: more than 6 jobs in 3 years may disqualify for sign-on bonus.
• Location: Birmingham, AL; Orientation Mon–Thu; travel covered.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed equipment on a five-state regional route; may cover all 48 states.
• Home weekends with 34–48 hours at home; some trips to Southern Texas and Florida may exceed 2 weeks.
• Drive top-of-the-line Cascadias and T680s; can take truck home with trailer; dash valve lock if parking.
• Tarp 40–50% of freight; comprehensive benefits after 30 days (medical, dental, PTO, 401K).
• We will cover travel expenses (air, rental car or mileage, solo hotel, meals).
