Job summary

Cdl A Sense is seeking an experienced Class A OTR flatbed driver who wants to be home on weekends. Earn an average take-home of $1,500–$1,800 per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and full benefits.

Expect a five-state regional route with modern Cascadia and T680 tractors, some trips across all 48 states; orientation travel is covered. Requirements include one year of verifiable OTR experience in the last five years, with at least six months on flatbed hauling steel and pipes, and a clean safety

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable OTR experience in the last 5 years, including at least 6 months on flatbed with steel and pipes.
• Clean driving record: no more than one at-fault in 3 years; DOT in last year reviewed.
• Stable work history: more than 6 jobs in 3 years may disqualify sign-on bonus.
• Location noted: Birmingham, AL.
• Orientation runs Monday–Thursday; travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Operate a five-state regional route or potentially across all 48 states.
• Home weekends with 34–48 hours off.
• Operate modern equipment (Cascadia and T680) with auto transmissions.
• Diverse freight: tarped loads comprise 40–50% of shipments.
• Take truck home with trailer; park at a truck stop if needed and use a Dash Valve Lock.
