Job summary

RAS Logistics in Buffalo, NY is seeking experienced CDL Class A Owner Operators / Independent Contract Carriers to provide flatbed delivery services for building and home improvement products.

As an Independent Contract Carrier you will operate your own business, secure necessary authority and insurance, and maintain DOT compliance while delivering for a major retailer. Weekly settlements, driver-only routes, and opportunities to grow your business are part of the program.

Qualifications

• Flatbed delivery experience.
• Building materials or home improvement delivery experience.
• Familiarity with customer and job-site deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional transportation and delivery services for building and home improvement products using flatbed equipment.
• Transport building and home improvement materials and complete scheduled deliveries to customer locations and job sites.
• Properly secure freight in accordance with applicable DOT requirements.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain required transportation and delivery documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers.
• Provide safe, dependable, and customer-focused delivery service.
• Operate a trailer-mounted forklift/Moffett when applicable.
