Job summary

RAS Logistics in Buffalo, NY is seeking experienced CDL Class A Owner Operators / Independent Contractors to provide flatbed delivery services for building and home improvement products. This contract opportunity offers consistent opportunities with weekly settlements and routes up to 6 days per week.

As an Independent Contract Carrier you will operate your own business and maintain required insurance, DOT/MC authority, and necessary licenses while delivering professionally and safely.

Qualifications

• Own and operate your own transportation business.
• Maintain USDOT and MC authority and required insurance.
• CDL-A license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional flatbed delivery services for building and home-improvement products.
• Transport materials using flatbed equipment and complete scheduled deliveries.
• Secure freight in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Operate a trailer-mounted forklift when applicable.
