Job summary

Pratt Recycling is seeking a dedicated driver to operate a tractor-trailer, haul baled recyclables, and use a forklift with safety and DOT compliance. You will manage load securement, communicate with dispatch, and service multiple customers daily across various sites.

Must hold a valid CDL, forklift certification, and a clean driving record. Responsibilities include flexible scheduling and adherence to safety policies in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with DOT regulations and load securement.
• Clean driving record and ability to comply with safety policies.
• Ability to operate multiple vehicle types in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT pre/post trip inspections and document results.
• Operate tractor and flatbed per DOT and company safety regulations.
• Operate forklift following OSHA and safety rules.
• Notify Route Manager of incidents, delays or hazards.
• Collect baled recycle material and deliver to baling plants or MRFs.
• Ensure proper DOT load securement and safety procedures; load/unload baled material.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain flexibility to work variable schedules.
