Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a tractor-trailer driver to pick up baled material from multiple customers daily, operating a forklift to handle baled recycle material and hauling loads to baling plants or MRF under seasonal weather.

You will adhere to DOT load balancing and load securement, and follow all safety policies and DOT hours of service requirements, providing basic customer service for delivery issues.

Qualifications

• Current forklift operator's certification is required.
• Commercial Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete DOT required pre and post trip inspections and documents.
• Operates company vehicles per DOT and safety regulations.
• Operates forklift per safety regulations.
• Notifies Route Manager of incidents or service interruptions.
• Communicates route status with supervisor and Customer Service.
• Monitors gauges and performs scheduled tasks.
• Fulfills assigned route pick-ups.
• Loads and unloads baled recycle material following DOT load securement requirements.
• Keeps truck and compactor clean.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
