Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Safe driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to safely secure loads using chains, straps, and other equipment.
• Ability to tarp and protect loads.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with flatbed driving.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor and flatbed trailer.
• Secure cargo using straps, chains, and other securing devices.
• Tarp and protect loads when required.
• Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain HOS, DVIR, proof of delivery, and fuel receipt records.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales, customers, and other departments as needed.
• Promptly report accidents, incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns.
