Job summary

TransLoop is seeking a Flatbed Account Specialist to own the flatbed/open-deck side of our carrier network. You’ll find great flatbed carriers, build real relationships, and keep them happy so they’re ready to run our loads.

You’ll hunt, book loads, and ensure smooth shipments while collaborating with the Customer Sales team to grow shippers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in flatbed carrier sales or logistics, with deep knowledge of flatbed modes and strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in flatbed carrier sales or flatbed logistics operations.
• Deep knowledge of flatbed modes, market behavior, and industry-specific regulations.
• Strong carrier network and established industry relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced brokerage or 3PL environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hunting down solid flatbed carriers – whether that’s working warm leads in our TMS or doing your own cold outreach and research
• Jumping on the phone, booking loads, solving problems, and making sure every shipment goes smoothly
• Partnering closely with our Customer Sales team to grow new/existing shippers
• Turning one-off loads into long-term partnerships that keep the freight flowing both ways
• Keeping your carriers happy while hitting (and beating) the service KPIs our carrier leadership team sets
• Building tight relationships with our Customer Sales team so everyone’s on the same page and the customer is serviced as the highest levels
