Job summary

Nucar Honda of Norwood is seeking a reliable Flat Rate Automotive Service Technician to join our busy dealership team in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in automotive service and is comfortable diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as an automotive service technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Detail-oriented and able to document work performed.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brakes and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians for timely, quality repairs.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician, preferably in a dealership setting. Brand experience preferred, but not required.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately complete service orders and document work performed.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Certifications: ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
