Job summary

Audi West Chester is seeking a Flat Rate Technician to perform skilled maintenance and repair on Audi vehicles, delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes efficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues while adhering to dealership standards.

The selected candidate will work with diagnostic equipment, participate in ongoing training, and document all repairs clearly. A clean driving record and ability to lift heavy objects are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with experience in a dealership setting.
• Audi experience and certifications are highly preferred.
• ASE certifications (Automotive Service Excellence) are a plus.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational automotive program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of automotive repair and maintenance services on Audi vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, engine diagnostics, transmission repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle malfunctions using specialized diagnostic equipment and established repair procedures.
• Execute repairs and services efficiently and effectively in accordance with Audi factory specifications and dealership standards.
• Document all repairs, parts used, and time spent accurately on repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status, additional repairs needed, and estimated completion times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and dealership policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with Audi technology and repair techniques.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks on completed work to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in road testing vehicles to confirm repairs are effective and address customer concerns.
