Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships seeks an experienced Flat Rate Service Technician for our busy Service Department in Marshfield, MA. Compensation will be based on experience, with training opportunities available.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic equipment to test components, test-driving vehicles, diagnosing systems, and providing repair estimates to the Service Advisor. A strong willingness to learn and excellent interpersonal skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnosing and testing vehicle components helps
• Strong communication with Service Advisor on estimates
• Ability to manage work time and responsibilities in a shop environment

Responsibilities

• Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components
• Test-driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification
• Diagnosing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, A/C
• Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
• Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results
