Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repairs efficiently.
• Communicate with team members about vehicle repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim for access.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Supervise apprentices when needed, explaining procedures and addressing issues.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Preferred certification in body repair.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes per manufacturer standards.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
