Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about additional services or repairs needed, providing estimates of time and cost.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Certification from Kia, Hyundai, or Chevrolet is helpful but not necessary.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, dexterity, and excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Positive attitude, team player, and ability to learn new technology and procedures.
