Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage is seeking a skilled GM technician for flat-rate work in a high-volume Anchorage dealership. You will diagnose, repair, and document work across GM brands, using GM procedures and diagnostic platforms with focus on accuracy and efficiency in Alaska conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership.
• GM or domestic brand experience preferred; import experience welcome.
• GDS2 GM diagnostic platform experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GM vehicles across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and more.
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop repair plans for service advisors.
• Execute repairs to GM factory specifications with speed and accuracy.
• Document all work performed and parts used on repair orders.
• Stay current on GM bulletins, software updates, and procedures.
• Perform test drives to validate diagnostics and repair quality.
