Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Flat Lead at our Bethlehem, PA laundry facility. The role involves supervising a Feeder/Folder area, leading teams to meet production standards, training new hires, and ensuring smooth workflow while not engaging in hiring or firing decisions.

Responsibilities include leading teams, monitoring quality, handling equipment, and assisting in production across shifts as needed. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
• Recognize, inspect and grade product.
• Able and certified to safely operate a powered industrial truck.
• Comprehend and follow direction by supervision.
• Communicate effectively.

• Perform other tasks as required.

Job Summary

The Flat Lead performs some of the same tasks as a co-worker, such as a Feeder/Folder, but with added and limited supervisory tasks. For example, the Production Lead in the Feeder/Folder area would perform the regular duties of a Feeder/Folder, and would lead the group in meeting production standards, train new hires, monitor efficiencies or stage workflows. Not always assigned to one particular job, he or she is directed to perform a variety of tasks. Does not hire, fire and/or discipline employees.
