Alsco Uniforms in the United States seeks a Flat Lead to perform supervisory tasks in the Feeder/Folder area while executing regular duties. This role leads teams, trains new hires, and ensures production standards are met without involving hiring or firing decisions.
The employee will monitor quality, coordinate workflows, and assist in other production tasks as needed, supporting vacations and absences to maintain operations.
The Flat Lead performs some of the same tasks as a co-worker, such as a Feeder/Folder, but with added and limited supervisory tasks. For example, the Production Lead in the Feeder/Folder area would perform the regular duties of a Feeder/Folder, and would lead the group in meeting production standards, train new hires, monitor efficiencies or stage workflows. Not always assigned to one particular job, he or she is directed to perform a variety of tasks. Does not hire, fire and/or discipline employees.
