Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Required to have a current Class C driver's license and clean driving record. Must have at least 3 years of bobtail driving/26' truck and material handling experience and 2 - 3 years experience driving forklifts. Maintain a good attendance record to ensure that there is no interruption to production or services to our customers. Work safely following the company's safety program requirements and have good communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a flatbed truck loaded with materials.
• Handle materials and drivers safely to ensure safe handling of products.
• Keep the truck clean and in good condition.
• Conduct daily pre-trips and maintain and submit daily work tags.
• Report any unsafe conditions and/or accidents immediately.
• Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity and minimize wear and downtime.
• Report mechanical or maintenance issues with equipment.
• Safely load and unload pallets of materials.
• Properly load and secure pallets of materials.
• Accurately account for transactions; inventory.
• Work with a WMS.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 - 3 years of experience driving a forklift.
• At least 3 years of bobtail driving/26' truck and material handling experience.
• Experience driving with a manual (Stick Shift) transmission.
• Experience with Business Central a plus.
• Required to have a current Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
