Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is seeking a reliable Flatbed CDL Driver to transport freight to customer sites as part of the County Ready Mix team in Astatula, FL. The role requires attention to safety, load securement, and on-time delivery with professional customer interaction.

You will perform pre-/post-trip inspections, tarp loads per DOT standards, and operate flatbed equipment while complying with all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required prior to hire.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Ability to secure and tarp loads per DOT standards.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient transportation of goods using flatbed tractor - trailer equipment
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and site personnel
• Conduct pre - trip, post - trip, and in - route inspections of tractor, trailer, and securement equipment
• Secure and tarp loads properly in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Operate tractor - trailer combinations in a safe and professional manner
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Unload materials using approved methods, including pipe unloaders when required
• Maintain cleanliness and operating condition of assigned tractor and trailer
• Receive dispatch instructions, communicate job status, and report completion of deliveries
• Maintain consistent communication with dispatch throughout assigned routes
• Represent the company professionally by maintaining positive customer relationships

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Flatbed CDL Driver to transport freight using a flatbed tractor-trailer. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical ability to secure and tarp loads, and strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards. The Flatbed Driver serves as a professional representative of the company at customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries, excellent customer service, and safe freight handling.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Experience & Qualifications:
