We are Hiring a Store Manager for our New Flagship Store Opening in New York!

Following the exciting news that we are opening a Flagship store in New York, we are looking for a Store Manager to lead this upcoming store. This person will be the master of bringing Gymshark to life. Our stores are community hubs where you can buy great kit, foster local community spirit, and create events that connect genuinely with the community. You will be a people person, passionate about developing your team and having fun.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  1. Lead the store's success through dynamic leadership, ensuring commercial goals are met and customers have an exceptional experience.
  2. Represent Gymshark’s culture and values, acting as a passionate brand ambassador and role model for your team.
  3. Drive sales by analyzing data, managing stock, and implementing strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  4. Oversee daily operations, including customer service and store presentation, contributing to strategic planning.
  5. Foster growth within your team, building a high-performing, engaged workforce.
  6. Ensure safety and well-being for everyone in the store, maintaining a secure environment.
  7. Communicate effectively with GSHQ to align store performance with broader business objectives.
  8. Lead recruitment, development, and leadership of a diverse team aligned with company values.
  9. Provide coaching and feedback to motivate your team to exceed KPIs.
  10. Set standards for customer service, brand experience, and operational excellence.
  11. Support key projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and operations are efficient.
  12. Mentor your team to grow personally and professionally.
  13. Handle key-holder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store.
  14. Act as Store Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless operations.
  15. Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic workplace culture.
  16. Promote continuous learning and stay ahead of retail trends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience managing a retail store with 40+ employees, preferably in fitness or fashion.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Alignment with Gymshark’s brand values focused on community, wellness, and fitness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service expertise.
  • Experience monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Understanding of sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management.
  • Skill in hiring, coaching, and developing staff.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Attention to detail in store presentation and operations.
  • Organizational skills for planning and managing schedules.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

SALARY RANGE

The range is between $88,000 - $125,000, based on market, experience, and skills.
