Become A Traffic Flagger in Seattle

Flaggers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction workers, motorists, and pedestrians near work zones.

As a flagger, youll be on the front lines of traffic control, ensuring everyone on or near the road stays safe. Its a job that requires excellent communication skills, a keen sense of awareness, and a passion for keeping people safe. Flaggers are responsible for directing traffic around work zones using stop/slow signs, monitoring traffic flow, ensuring that vehicles follow speed limits, and communicating with other members of the team via hand signals or two-way radios. Flaggers are also responsible for keeping people safe in work zones by making sure that construction workers and pedestrians follow safety protocols.
