Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Flagger - Traffic Control to safeguard work zones and direct traffic through high-traffic areas. This full-time position reports to the traffic control foreman and emphasizes safety excellence on every job site.

The ideal candidate is committed to safe practices, with experience in road construction preferred and a valid driver’s license. Training for flagging per MUTCD and possible overtime, weekends, and night shifts is available.

Qualifications

• Individual must be dedicated to working safely at all times.
• Experience preferred working road construction in high traffic areas.
• Preference given to ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification holders.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
• Team player.
• Willing to be trained to flag/regulate traffic per MUTCD guidelines.
• Willing to assist crew with manual labor duties.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up lane closures on high-traffic projects per MUTCD Regulations and under direction of Traffic Control Coordinator, Foreman, or Construction Superintendent.
• Direct traffic safely through lane closures and construction zones.

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates for a FLAGGER - TRAFFIC CONTROL position based out of Gallatin, TN. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. This position will report to the traffic control foreman.

• Day Shift- Night Shift/Weekend work may be required
• Wages starting at $23.52/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up lane closures on high traffic projects in accordance with MUTCD regulations and at the direction of Traffic Control Coordinator, Foreman, or Construction Superintendent.
• Responsible for safely directing traffic through lane closures and construction project areas.
