Job summary

PeopleReady of Tampa, FL is hiring a Flagger to control vehicle traffic at work zones and on roadways, parking lots, or construction sites. You will communicate with the crew to maintain safe traffic flow and protect workers.

Requirements include being 18+, outdoor work in all weather, good communication, ability to stand long periods, and Flagger Certification. Training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Clear communication with crew is required.
• Able to remain stationary for extended periods.
• Flagger Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Help establish safe traffic movement around work zones.
• Flag motorists to warn of obstacles or repair work ahead.
• Take ownership of the work zone and guide vehicles safely.
• Place signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and perform safety-related tasks as directed.
