Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Flagger to ensure safe travel in public areas with active worksites. You will assist with traffic control and flagging duties, supporting construction crews on site.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to DOT guidelines, with opportunities for training and hands-on experience in traffic management. Compensation aligns with industry standards for entry-level flaggers in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license (not Provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous flagging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control traffic in and around active worksites with hand signs and paddles.
• Prepare flags, cones, signs and markers.
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman or Supervisor as needed.
• Drive safely and follow company safety policies.
• Follow local, state and federal DOT guidelines.
• Clean and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote location, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift between 10 and 25 pounds, fine hand motion, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work with arms above shoulder level, climbs stairs, and lift between 26 and 55 pounds
