Job summary

Coast to Coast Flagging is hiring flaggers to safely manage traffic and pedestrians around active work zones. You will set up and operate cones, signs and signals, maintaining clear directions for drivers and the public.

Training and certification may be provided for motivated candidates with strong work ethics. Applicants should be willing to work outdoors in all weather, wear PPE supplied by the company, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to work as a team to move traffic and pedestrians safely around work sites.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE as provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up and control work zones using traffic cones, arrow boards, signs and hand signals.
• Direct traffic and pedestrians to keep everyone safe around the work site.
• Work outdoors year-round, remaining standing for long durations as required.

Coast to Coast Flagging's OhioOperations are affiliated with IBEW Local Union 71.

Seeking Flaggers with excellent communication skills to work as a team to control traffic and pedestrians moving safely around work site. They will set up and control work zones using traffic cones, arrow boards, signs and hand signals. Coast to Coast Flagging prioritizes safety. All team members, vehicles, and equipment are compliant with OSHA, ATSSA and MUTCD standards.

The ideal will possess a valid Traffic Control /Flagger Certificate. However, training which will include certification be provided to applicants that demonstrate strong professional work ethics and/or work relevant experience.

Position Requirements

Flaggers must be willing and able to work outdoors all year while standing for long durations of time.

Flaggers will be required to wear PPE clothing; most of which is provided by Coast to Coast Flagging.

A valid Driver's License.

Show-Up Location

Worksites will vary including but not limited: Medina, Summit, Lorain, Wayne, Homes & Cuyahoga Counties in Ohio

Pay Range

Option for 401K, Medical & Union Benefits.
