Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Instructor to lead athletes on a designated sport, delivering fun, safe, and instructional youth sports experiences across our local programs. You will run practices, reinforce fundamentals, and model sportsmanship.

This hands-on role requires excellent communication, the ability to work weekends/evenings during the season, and a passion for mentoring young players while upholding our standards of fun and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (season duration 4–6 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
