Job summary

Carden Conejo School is seeking an Elementary/Middle School Flag Football Coach to lead practices, teach fundamentals, and prepare the team for league competition. The role focuses on fostering sportsmanship, leadership, and positive energy in student-athletes while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Ideal candidates will have high school-level coaching and playing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an inclusive, developmentally appropriate program.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school level or above.
• Playing experience at high school level or above.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification required prior to start.
• Background screening and fingerprinting (Live Scan) and child safety requirements required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead organized, age-appropriate flag football practices.
• Teach offensive and defensive flag football skills, techniques, and game strategy.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and activities for safety and participation.
• Develop practice plans emphasizing skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and sportsmanship.
