Job summary

A & Associates, Inc. is hiring for Trash & Recycling Helpers in the Daytona Beach area. You will collect waste and recyclables from various locations, perform curbside pickups, and assist the driver with site tasks. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Pay starts at $14.00 per hour with full-time, part-time, or temporary duties. Safety boots are required, and you may work long shifts including holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum eighth-grade level.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work 10-hour shifts and all holidays.
• Must wear 6-inch steel toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Collect garbage, recyclables, and yard debris from residential and commercial locations.
• Perform curbside pickups using hand tools such as pitchforks and shovels.
• Ride along to disposal or recycling sites and assist with unloading.
• Assist the driver with fueling and checking fluid levels; clean truck interior and exterior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and handle 50 pounds
• Availability: Must be able to work 10-hour days and all holidays
• Footwear: Must wear 6-inch steel toe boots (Required — no exceptions)

Primary Duties

• Collect garbage, recyclables, and yard debris from residential and commercial locations
• Perform curbside pickups using hand tools such as pitchforks and shovels
• Ride along to disposal or recycling sites and assist with unloading
• Assist the driver with fueling and checking fluid levelsClean truck interior and exterior at the end of each shift
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

• Comfortable working with waste and debris
• Capable of using basic hand tools
• Physically able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects throughout the shift
• Dependable and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
