Job summary

A & Associates in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Commercial/Residential Painter to join our construction team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, stain, coatings, and finishes on commercial and residential construction projects.

You will read basic plans, operate brushes, rollers, and sprayers, maintain tools, follow safety rules, and coordinate with other trades.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional painting experience.
• Commercial or residential construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and different paint systems.
• Ability to use ladders, lifts, and painting equipment safely.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other surfaces for painting.
• Perform sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming.
• Apply interior and exterior paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Match colors and maintain consistent finishes.
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and finished areas.

Pay Range: Approximately $20–$30/hour, depending on experience
