Job summary

American Wholesale Book Company in Florence, AL is seeking a Fixture Warehouse Associate to support fixture refurbishment, stocking, and shipment preparation. This full‑time role reports directly to the Tuscumbia Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities include filling store and customer orders, assessing refurbishment needs, accurately stocking items, noting locations on paper, and safely operating power tools to repair or prep fixtures for LTL or AWBC truck routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic painting and carpentry skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fills store and customer orders.
• Assess and determine the best course of action to refurbish old / broken fixtures.
• Accurately stock product in location and annotate on paper.
• Responsible for following all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Accurately identify the correct items from their correct location.
• Consolidate like items to a skid or locations in a neat and timely manner.
• Prep Fixture for shipping via common carrier LTL or AWBC truck route without damaging the items being shipped.
• Safely operate electric power tools; Circular saw, jig saws, Drills, and other carpenter tools as needed.
• Must be able to work in variable work locations.
