Job summary

Free People in Philadelphia is seeking a Fixture Designer to develop new fixtures and floorplans for our retail and wholesale divisions. You will collaborate with Store Design, Operations, merchandising, and vendors to deliver cohesive, on-brand fixtures across stores and showrooms.

The role requires 3+ years in fixture design, strong CAD/SketchUp skills, and hands-on fabrication ability. Travel to showrooms and stores may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fixture or furniture design.
• Proficient in SketchUp and CAD.
• Understanding of materials, fabrication and manufacturing techniques for furniture and fixtures.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Some hands-on fabrication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Design and Store Operations to create floor plans for new and current stores.
• Create new fixture packages for apparel and accessory categories.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams to update fixture packages.
• Partner with domestic and international vendors to design and value-engineer as needed.
