Job summary

GreenWaste is hiring a Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair fixed plant equipment including conveyors, screens, and pumps. The role supports uptime through preventive maintenance, repairs, and accurate documentation with progression from entry to senior levels.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; trade school preferred for hands-on maintenance.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience preferred for mid-level roles and above.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair fixed plant equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS/maintenance management systems and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain fixed plant equipment such as conveyors, screens, balers, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work orders in CMMS.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance to ensure safety and reliability.
• Lead diagnostics and major repairs at senior level, driving uptime and continuous improvement.
