Lazard is seeking a Business Analyst for the Fixed Income Technology team in New York. The role interfaces with global fixed income investment teams to support and enhance processes and ensure integration with Bloomberg PORT Enterprise for performance, attribution, and risk reporting.

Successful candidates will crystallize requirements, define best practices, and collaborate with vendors, technology, and business stakeholders to meet project deliverables within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT.
• Experience in Portfolio Analysis, Fixed Income Securities/OTC/Derivatives, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg PORT/AIM.
• Strong MS Office, SQL with create/update queries.
• Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence, Excel VBA/Macros.
• Functional knowledge of risk and attribution reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team player and proactive learner.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business to gather and document requirements and functional specs.
• Analyze requirements for large-scale financial implementation projects and provide hands-on expertise.
• Ensure deliverables meet product requirements and align with user needs.
• Evaluate processes, identify improvements, and implement solutions.
• Understand upstream and downstream processes relevant to the area.
• Work with agile teams to deliver quality software solutions for complex problems.
