Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a Structured Product Bond Trader to execute trades and support a global trading team from Minneapolis. You will collaborate with portfolio managers and researchers to identify value opportunities in fixed income securities, focusing on agency mortgages and CLOs, while maintaining market data and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years’ experience with structured product securities, preferably in agency mortgages or CLOs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg; knowledge of pre-trade checks is a plus.
• Inquisitive mind and ability to interact with senior investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades of structured product fixed income securities as authorized by PMs.
• Collaborate with PMs, Research Analysts and Traders to identify relative value opportunities.
• Contribute market insight and participate in trading round tables and strategy meetings.
• Maintain data on trading levels and client guidelines; assist with ad hoc reporting.
