Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to monitor and manage portfolio risk, perform risk analyses, and deliver concise reports to senior leadership. You will collaborate with investment teams to improve risk measurement approaches and contribute to new product development.

The role requires strong programming skills and a solid foundation in fixed income instruments, derivatives, and international markets. A CFA/FRM path is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in the investment management industry.
• Understanding of fixed income instruments including derivatives and familiarity with international markets.
• Understanding of risk models and methodologies. Experience with BlackRock Aladdin, MSCI RiskMetrics, MSCI BarraOne, Bloomberg PORT is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure portfolios conform to established risk policy and risk limit frameworks.
• Perform risk analysis on portfolios and benchmarks, reporting on market, liquidity and concentration risk.
• Deliver written memos and presentations to committees and fund boards; present portfolio risk and performance analysis to senior leaders.
• Have strong programming skills to enable problem solving and development of scalable solutions and proprietary risk measurement approaches.
• Collaborate with investment teams in monitoring and managing portfolio risk; provide risk analytic insight.
• Contribute to development of new products and investment solutions for clients.
• Maintain knowledge of fixed income investments, investment processes, trading strategies, and regulatory environment.
• Involvement in or ownership of special projects as determined by management
