Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Fixed Income, Project Lead to oversee an engagement for The Western Area Power Administration (Western) - a Federal agency under the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that markets and transmits wholesale hydroelectric power generated at Federal dams across the western United States. The candidate shall be responsible for the overall planning and execution of assignments, including ensuring that sufficient and appropriate resources are allocated.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess at least 15 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in finance, business, economics or related fields.

Responsibilities

The ProSidian Engagement Team shall provide a qualified, trained, and experienced professional financial advisor and transaction specialist who has knowledge in:

  • Provide leadership and managerial oversight of client engagement, supervising work related to interest rate risk, credit risk, market, legal, regulatory, compliance, governance and operational risks
  • Working knowledge of fixed income instruments and experience in financial markets with significant exposure to risk management or portfolio management
  • Develops and/or approves approach to scope of work, monitors task execution, prepares and reviews deliverables, and serves as the main point of contact for client
  • Provide comprehensive portfolio analytics while reviewing the portfolios’ structure and risk exposures to ensure that the expected performance profile of the portfolios are properly modeled
  • Proven ability to provide oral and writing narrative of financial model assumptions and analysis with senior managers and stakeholders as directed
  • Expertise in preparing and evaluating valuation models with Discounted Cash Flow Valuation and Comparable methodologies for asset disposition and distressed assets
  • Ability to provide Learning Solutions for basic to advance proficiency in credit risk, data analytics and financial modeling skills
