Qualifications

  • 4+ years in fixed income markets (trading/valuation/research).
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or STEM field.
  • Curious with adaptability to new technologies including AI.
  • MBA or Masters in Economics/Finance/STEM preferred.
  • CFA/FRM/CTP designation desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of MBS/CMOs/REMICs and rate markets.
  • Deep understanding of fixed income analytics and valuations.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Visual Basic, R or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design and enhance cash flow models and pricing methods.
  • Discuss markets and fixed income concepts with internal and external participants.
  • Execute daily fair-value pricing for loans, securities, debt and derivatives.
  • Research market activity and risk factors affecting pricing.
  • Develop new pricing methodologies aligned with market environment.
  • Lead market analysis for the firm portfolio across groups.
  • Manage internal projects and deliver value to customers.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
  • Analyze large data sets using advanced financial tools and techniques.
  • Interpret model outputs and translate results for customers.
  • Collaborate with model builders on validation and improvements.
